That’s an animatronic eye for Errol the Dragon. Besides changing colour with my mood and ambient light, it moves when I move my head. And yes, it blinks every few seconds. You should see the rest of what the dragon can do!
My mum's love for flowers shows in her stories which were meant to help us identify them. Atie also told little anecdotes to visitors as she guided at VanDusen Gardens in Vancouver over many years. She had gathered together history and botanical information on each plant, and combined them in her stories. Sadly a stroke halted her art, and she was never able to finish her work. That I will do for her.
